Masterbatch
Add Color, Character, and Functionality to Your Plastics.
THE MAGIC OF THE PLASTICS INDUSTRY
What is Masterbatch? Why is it Used?
Masterbatch is a solid concentrate of colorants and/or additives encapsulated during a heating process into a carrier polymer, which is then cooled and cut into a granular shape. It is added to raw (usually transparent or opaque) plastic polymers (like HDPE, LDPE, PP, PVC) during the manufacturing process to impart color or special chemical/physical properties.
- Excellent color dispersion and brightness.
- Dust-free manufacturing environment.
- Protection against UV rays and thermal degradation.
- Adds functionality without compromising mechanical properties.
- Perfectly compatible with automated dosing systems.
- Applicable to injection, blow molding, and extrusion processes.
DIVERSITY AND FUNCTIONALITY
Masterbatch Types & Applications
We supply four main groups of masterbatch solutions that impart color or functionality according to your product's needs.
White Masterbatch
Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) based products with high opacity and whiteness. Extensively used in packaging films, pipes, household goods, and thermoformed products.
Black Masterbatch
Carbon Black based, offering high UV protection and deep jetness. Preferred in automotive parts, corrugated wastewater pipes, cable jacketing, and agricultural films.
Color Masterbatch
Custom-produced according to customer demands or international RAL/Pantone catalogs. Brings your brand to life in toys, cosmetic bottles, garden furniture, and textile yarns.
Additive Masterbatch
Directly improves the physical and chemical performance of the plastic with properties such as Anti-UV, Antistatic, Flame Retardant (FR), Slip, and Anti-Block.
