LLDPE Raw Material
Linear Low-Density Polyethylene
HIGH-PERFORMANCE FILMS
What is LLDPE? Why is it Necessary?
Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) is a polymer with short branches along long ethylene chains. Although structurally similar to LDPE, it is far superior in terms of tensile strength and puncture resistance. Thanks to the high strength it provides even in thin film production, it allows for the production of more durable packaging with less material.
- Superior tear and puncture resistance.
- Suitable for thin film production (High strength at low thickness).
- Excellent flexibility and elongation capabilities.
- Outstanding environmental stress cracking resistance (ESCR).
- Easily blendable with other polyethylene types.
- Resistance to cold and hot weather conditions.
SECTORAL SOLUTIONS
LLDPE Applications
With its superior tear resistance and the strength it provides even in thin structures, LLDPE is the number one choice, especially for the packaging and film industry.
Stretch Films
It is the most ideal material in pallet wrapping and food stretch films thanks to its high elongation coefficient and tackiness.
Agricultural Films
Provides high resistance against weather conditions and punctures in greenhouse covers, mulch films, and silage packaging.
Heavy-Duty Bags
Prevents tearing in the production of industrial packaging and bags used for transporting fertilizer, cement, and heavy industrial products.
Flexible Packaging
Increases durability when blended with LDPE in frozen food packaging, courier bags, and textile packaging.
